Operation and Use

Please note that the BRASS STACKER™ Magazine Loader is a TOOL, and therefore requires a certain degree of practice to become proficient in its use. Always wear eye protection when using this product. DO NOT attempt to force a bullet down through the mouth of the magazine with the BRASS STACKER™ Magazine Loader. This may cause damage to your magazine.

• Step 1: Place the BRASS STACKER™ over your empty magazine with the “Thumb Hook” forward.
• Step 2: Allow the bottom of the magazine to rest on the base of one of your fingers or in the palm of your hand while placing your thumb in the “Thumb Hook”.
• Step 3: Compress the magazine’s spring follower with the BRASS STACKER™ by moving your thumb down.
• Step 4: Insert bullet into mouth of magazine and back against the BRASS STACKER™ R.A.M. (Ratcheting Assistance Mechanism).
• Step 5: Use your other hand placing your thumb on the nose of the bullet and allowing your fingers to rest on the back of the BRASS STACKER™
• Step 6: Release pressure from the “Thumb Hook” and press the nose to the bullet to “Seat” the round against the back wall of the magazine.
• Step 7: Raise the BRASS STACKER™ with your fingers in the rear until the R.A.M. has cleared the top of the magazine.
• Step 8: Repeat until magazine is fully loaded.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q. Are there BRASS STACKER Magazine Loaders available for smaller calibers?
A. Our loaders currently cover magazines for a range of pistols chambered in .45 ACP, .45 GAP, .40 S&W, .357 Sig, 9mm, and .380 Auto. We are currently working on loaders for .32, .25 and .22 caliber magazines in addition to loaders for AR and AK style magazines in .223 and 7.62mm.

Q. Are BRASS STACKER Magazine Loaders magazine specific?
A. Our loaders are specific to a family of magazines with similar dimensional characteristics and are not limited to any one gun manufacturer.

Q. Should all of the Delrin Rollers be touching the magazine at the same time?
A. No, as designed only two rollers will be in contact with the magazine at any given time.

Q. Should the bullets be difficult to insert into the magazine when the loader is depressed?
A. On some magazines, particularly double stack magazines, there is a tendency for a previously loaded bullet to “nose up” when compressed by the R.A.M.. It is normal for there to be a degree of “snap” when inserting subsequent bullets. This slight interference actually aids in keeping the bullet stable when cycling the loader and seating the round.
